Thames Park Pool re-opens

On Saturday, July 17, Londoners came out in droves to attend the grand opening of newly-renovated Thames Park Pool.

The new heated pool includes eight 50-metre swimming lanes, diving boards, a lazy river, a giant red water slide and a beach entry into shallow water for children with tipping toucan water features and sprays. The pool area includes new shade shelters and a renovated bath house.

The total cost of this project was $4,580,000 of which $2,300,000 was funded by the Province of Ontario through the Investing in Ontario Act funding program.

The pool is open until September 5 during the following hours:
7 days a week - 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Monday-Friday - 6 pm to 8 pm (closing by dusk in Aug/Sept)

Let's take full advantage of the pool during this hot summer!
